Bocephus King

Vancouver based Bocephus King (a.k.a Jamie Perry) has been keeping the critics guessing for years and has inspired labels from pop-folk to roots rock to carnival burlesque. None of these seem to stick, however, as he shakes off each new description with every performance. Keeping haphazardly to the middle ground somewhere between solid blues-based rock and a three ring circus, Bocephus King is the epitome of the saying "you have to see them live".

Accompanied by the biggest buzz band to come along in years, The Rigalattos, he was the belle of the ball at every festival and music exhibition from Amsterdam to Austin, Texas. Bocephus had the entire package. His songwriting and musicianship blended beautifully with his showmanship and storytelling.
